Financial Aid

Student grants and loans

  • At Academy of Learning Career College Richmond Hill, we believe that financial limitations should never stand in the way of your education or career aspirations. Our goal is to make quality education accessible, which is why we actively support and guide our students in applying for Government Student Grants—non-repayable financial assistance programs offered by both Federal and Provincial Governments to eligible students.
  • These grants are designed to ease the financial burden of education by helping cover essential expenses such as tuition fees, textbooks, learning materials, transportation costs, and living expenses. Unlike traditional student loans, grants do not require repayment, making them an ideal form of financial support for students who qualify.
  • Our knowledgeable and experienced Financial Aid Team at AOLCC Richmond Hill is committed to guiding you through every step of the application process. From explaining eligibility requirements to helping you complete the necessary paperwork, we ensure you fully understand your options and feel confident throughout the process.
  • Financial assistance may be available for eligible students, and we encourage you to connect with our team to explore the support options best suited to your educational journey.

Microlending loan financing

  • By creating meaningful opportunities for career growth and professional success. Through its innovative microloan program, Windmill Microlending supports skilled immigrants and refugees in overcoming financial barriers that may prevent them from continuing their careers in Canada.
  • Built on the belief that everyone deserves a fair chance to succeed, Windmill Microlending assists individuals who may face challenges accessing traditional financing due to their newcomer status. By offering affordable, low-interest loans, the program helps newcomers cover the costs of Canadian credentials, professional training, certification programs, and career-related expenses.
  • At Academy of Learning Career College Richmond Hill, we are proud to support pathways that help students access resources like Windmill Microlending. This support enables eligible newcomers to gain the education and credentials they need to confidently re-enter their professions, build successful careers, and make meaningful contributions to the Canadian workforce.

Access Education Through RESP

  • If you have been named a beneficiary under a family member’s Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP), you may be eligible to use those funds to support your education at Academy of Learning Career College Richmond Hill.
  • RESP funds can help cover eligible education-related expenses once you are enrolled in a qualifying educational program. A qualifying program is defined as a course of study that runs for at least three consecutive weeks and includes a minimum of 10 hours of instruction per week.
  • Upon meeting these requirements and confirming enrollment, the RESP beneficiary may become eligible to receive educational assistance payments to help finance tuition and other approved educational costs.
